Dr. Temp Sullivan


As a native Nashvillian who graduated from Oak Hill School, Montgomery Bell Academy, Rhodes College and the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, He is the twelfth member of his family to practice dentistry. The dental legacy runs deep in the Sullivan family as he is the grandson of Dr. Loyd Templeton Sullivan, a Memphis oral surgeon, and the late Dr. Richard Sullivan Sr., a Nashville dentist and the son of the late Dr. Richard Sullivan Jr. of Brentwood.

In practice for over 25 years, Dr. Sullivan has completed over 2000 hours of continuing education in adult and teen sedation, implant treatment, root canal therapy, clear aligner therapy, pediatric dental care, and training in pinhole gum rejuvenation. He has earned his fellow in laser dentistry at the World Clinical Laser Institute. He treats limited adult orthodontic patients with Invisalign and Clearcorrect, is a recognized provider for Six Month Smiles, and has been consistently recognized as a National Dentist of Excellence. As a former partner in Belle Meade Family Dentistry, Dr. Sullivan’s outstanding care for his patients has set him apart.

Dr. Sullivan is a charter member of the Woodmont Dental Study, a member of the Tennessee Dental Association, the Nashville Dental Society, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Tennessee Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
and the Academy of Facial Esthetics. He has served as a delegate for the Tennessee Dental Association and a member of the Peer Review.

Dr. Temp Sullivan has been married to Elizabeth for 27 years and they have three wonderful children Kate, Hugh and Mary Virginia. He enjoys supporting Interfaith Dental Clinic. He is an active member of First Presbyterian Church where he has taught Sunday School and served as a Deacon for 6 years. For the past several years he has passionately served on a dental outreach team in Mandeville, Jamaica.
